Streamline Your Workflow: How to Send WhatsApp Messages.
In today's fast-paced business environment, real-time communication is key. CobraCore’s integration with
WhatsApp allows you to keep clients, suppliers, and internal teams updated. This guide will walk you through
the simple steps to set up a client or vendor, send an opt-in request and your first message.
Let's get started!
Part 1: Initial Client Setup and Opt-In
Before you can send messages to a client or vendor, they must first opt-in to receive communications
and accept the Terms of Service. This ensures compliance and respects their privacy.
Navigate to the Client Management module by going to Accounting > Client.
On the top-right area of the screen, type the company name on the “Search Company” box, and
select it from the search results.
On the “Contacts” tab, Edit an existing or Add a new contact person. A new window will open
for Adding or Editing a Contact Person.
On the WhatsApp Phone box, type in the contact person’s WhatsApp phone number and select the Country of Origin of the
phone number itself. It is very important that you select the correct country from the list.
Next, click the “Send Opt-In Consent Message” button. This will send a WhatsApp message to the phone number you provided,
which will request consent to receive messages. They must reply with #join or by clicking the “Join” button.
Once opted-in, the system will automatically update their profile, and mark them as OPT-IN or WhatsApp-Enabled.
Part 2: Sending a WhatsApp Message from the Material Receipt module.
With a client successfully opted in, you can now send them real-time updates directly from the Material Receipt
module (and other modules), saving time and ensuring everyone is informed.
Go to Warehouse > Material Receipt module.
Click on the “WhatsApp” button.
A window will open.
You may add a short Message to the Recipients.
Search for the WhatsApp contact person by typing the name or phone number and select them from the list.
Click the "Send Message" button.
The message will be sent instantly, and the communication will be logged in the WhatsApp log for future reference.
This streamlined process not only enhances communication but also creates a clear, documented trail for all your transactions.
